Janie Anderson is a character who I’m writing about right now. I don’t know if what I’m writing is a novel, or just a very long story, but I have a very deep affection for Janie, and wanted to paint her. She’s in a high school production of Brigadoon, and has taken to wearing her costume around everywhere. I can’t take credit for the kind of amazing light dispersion over the painting – that happened while I was scanning it. But I really liked it, so I didn’t interfere.
